  • Avoiding common resume pitfalls and turning duties into accomplishments.

To further support the learning and development of DCPS colleagues beyond the workshop, Imagine Impact Consulting will provide access to our Candidate Resource Hub. This online platform will include a variety of tools, guides, and additional resources tailored to optimizing LinkedIn profiles and crafting standout resumes. 
Participants will find video tutorials, downloadable templates, and articles that offer deeper insights into best practices and emerging trends in professional development. This hub will serve as an ongoing reference to help participants apply what they learn in the workshop to their personal career growth, ensuring they have the support needed to effectively implement new strategies and techniques at their own pace.

Student Voice In School Transformation
Join the DCPS Design Lab to learn how to authentically engage students in school decisions and transformation strategies. The session will be grounded in the playbook published last fall: "Redesigning with Students: The Power of Student Voice and Student Action in Rethinking Education" (http://bit.ly/StudentVoicePlaybook). A follow up to the  2020 playbook "Transformation by Design," this new playbook includes examples, resources, and lessons learned when it comes to elevating authentic student voice across eight DCPS Redesign schools. The workshop will discuss what it looks like to begin a Redesign journey with empathy, engage students throughout the process, and sustain student voice and student action in a Redesigned school, and will provide attendees with their own tools to use to infuse student voice in their work.
